The end of the Permian age, ~251 Mya, was a hard time for life. Ninety percent of all species went extinct (90%! Species!).Whatever happened, planetary warming and bad ocean acidification where the result, and the Earth became a grim place to make a living as most ecosystems failed. Recent analyses have concluded that these conditions lasted for 10 million years (10 million years!). Life almost went kaput. But it didn’t. It went on. Then flourished–giving us the ultra cool dinosaurs, which went on to evolve into birds, mammals and other enjoyable creatures. Today, on the last day of 2018 ponder that while your own devastations may take a while to get through, in the end some wondrous things can result. Scorpio, hunker down and start evolving through this next year. You can. When it’s over, prepare for some amazingly cool things showing up in your life–something with wings.
